Parking - Garstang

Good morning residents of Garstang,

I am growing increasingly concerned to the total disregard for parking on Bonds Lane; near to the junction of Castle Lane and further down outside of St Mary and St Michaels Church.

Several times now I have driven past and noted vehicles parked opposite solid white lines as well as parked on Zigg-Zaggs during school times. The owners of these vehicles will be receiving a fine through the post. 

I have already issued several fixed penalty notices for the same offences at the location over the past few months. This will continue in the coming days/weeks if the issue does not stop. 

I am conscious that some of these vehicles are visitors/residents in the area, but this is not an excuse to park where is convenient causing danger to pedestrians and other road users. 

Please note that these concerns have also been reported and raised by YOU the public.
